Water Leakage Detector System protects facilities such as computer rooms, critical facilities, warehouses, and critical document rooms from water leaks and flooding accidents. The System is composed of at least one line type sensor that quickly detects water leaks along with a water leakage detector that alerts the water leaks to the user in a timely manner.

Water leak location is electronically measured and digitally displayed at units of 1 meter. Furthermore, when a water leak occurs, the sensor uses a colored display, making an on-site visual confirmation easy and making it possible to identify the location of the leak more quickly.

We offers the following water leakage detector & sensors as standard set, which are in control of one circuits according to the user's requirement. Each model incorporates a non-voltage output terminal that can be connected to a central monitoring panel.

- Sensor


TATSUTA AD-S Sensor is the non-coloring water leakage sensor which promptly detects any water leak.

Material: Strand of tinned annealed copper wires

Composition: Copper wire 0.18 mm in diameter × 13 (0.33 mm2 )

Insulation performance

Insulation resistance between electrodes is 10 MΩ min. when measured with a 100 VDC Insulation Tester.

Sensitivity (Water absorptivity)

Resistance between electrodes is 5 kΩ max. when water absorption is 3.0 ml or less. (Tap water is allowed to drop at a rate of 0.05 ml/s directly on the sensor.)

Moisture resistance between electrodes

Resistance between electrodes is 50 kΩ min. even in a highly humid environment but without dew condensation.


After leakage detection, the sensor is reset and can be reused within 30 min if it is retained under normal conditions (i.e., not exposed to water). The sensor cannot be reused if it has absorbed water that contains conductive or water-repellent material.

Radiation resistance

No performance deterioration (water absorptivity, moisture resistance, and mechanical properties) results after exposure to 50 Mrad(Note) .
